The Better Hypnosis

A few years ago, I had Hypnose by Lancome. I found it sensational at a friend's place! It smelled like freshly washed laundry, sweet and pure. Super beautiful. I bought it for myself and unfortunately had to realize that while it smelled quite good on me as well, it developed a biting, piercing beige scent on my skin. It made me extremely nauseous. It was unbearable, so I eventually gave it away. Such a shame, really... However, I always had that wonderful scent in the back of my mind that I had sniffed at my friend's place and subconsciously kept looking for an alternative. Now I have found it! Someone once wrote in the forum that the similarity of Eternal Magic to Hypnose is enormous. I must say that Eternal Magic smells absolutely wonderful on me. Almost like back then... It doesn't have a piercing note on me, developing into a clean laundry scent, delightful! A fine composition that gently carries through to the base notes of woods and vanilla. It's not as heavy as Hypnose. I believe that the vanilla back then triggered my gag reflex. The longevity is about four hours, and it is wearable at any time of day and year. Just like Yves Rocher fragrances, Avon fragrances are often unjustly disparaged. But one shouldn't be deterred by that. There are undiscovered treasures lurking there, as I have clearly been shown here again. I am happy to have discovered it.
