putting this as a review bc it was too long for a statement. i wrote something about this perfume last night and it ended up being one of the most majestic things ive ever written. my bottle has been sitting for years now which i hear brings the scent to a more sweet than green for most, but i don’t fully get that with mine. mine leans a bit more earthy now, it’s very nice. what i can say for sure about haiku tho is that she is bright and strong and loves you so much. she rides a really cool e-bike everywhere and will pick you up and take you to her secret garden in the woods and show you things that you thought you’d never see. the scent is light and fresh but the strength is incredible, haiku works out and it shows. you secretly come to her cabin by the garden and notice shes in her outdoor shower after getting all sweaty chopping wood. it’s cold outside, and there’s a light covering of snow on the ground, but as soon as she steps out you feel so completely warm. she giggles at your attempt to surprise her and comes to embrace you. she is wrapped in nothing but a fluffy white towel and warm water is still dripping from her skin and hair. she smells of jasmine, and cherry, and yuzu, and orange blossom. she kisses you, roughly but lovingly, demanding your attention. and for just a moment, everything is perfect. that is what haiku smells like to me.
