So far, I have always tried with great effort to squeeze everything into statements.
Now, my first attempt at a review of this fragrance.
I am an absolute beginner when it comes to scents. I have tried a lot. Only very few perfumes have left a lasting impression on me or even sparked enthusiasm.
My biggest enemy seems to be Ambroxan. As soon as a perfume contains a noticeable amount of Ambroxan, it burns and stings in my nose.
And as mentioned in the title, I have learned that a designer or even drugstore fragrance can excite me just as much as, for example, a Tom Ford or Roja.
About Azzaro Chrome Aqua:
I can only assess it on its own, as I unfortunately have not yet been able to test the other flankers. I acquired the bottle in the souk. Since it is 4 years old, I would rather not judge its longevity and sillage.
Azzaro Chrome Aqua has something of Acqua di Gio Profumo, Dsquared Green Wood, Costa Azzura plus fruity citrus notes.
It starts with mandarin and a spice from basil. For me, it’s a really great mix of sweetness, spice, and freshness, and it reminds me a lot of a lighter Profumo + sweetness. After about an hour, I suddenly had very strong memories of Green Wood and Costa Azzura. It somehow lies between them, munching on a fat mandarin.
And it totally impressed me, just the right amount of everything.
I hope it lasts throughout the day.
