A Fresh Breeze Sweeps Through the Spice Cabinet
Thanks to a nice Parfumo member (Thank you Chnokfir), I have been able to hold a sample of this very interesting perfume in my hands since yesterday. Of course, I could hardly wait to use the scent:
Upon spraying, one immediately perceives a strong pepper scent, supported by a ginger and grapefruit note. It smells spicy and lasts a long time.
The pepper note remains almost throughout. After a few hours, ginger and grapefruit are replaced by vetiver and a hint of nutmeg. Unfortunately, I could only smell lavender minimally, if at all. I do not detect any rhubarb (which apparently was also used).
However, in the search for a name, they could have done without the word "pure," as this is really not accurate and thus likely misleading for some.
Overall, I find this scent to be very successful. It is a good all-rounder for everyday use, surprisingly fresh despite its spiciness. Unfortunately, the vetiver is not very dominant.
However, I find it a pity that it seems to have been discontinued, as it can only be purchased through eBay now.
