Don't judge a fragrance by its looks
The bottle of Twin looks bizarre, the scent is pretty soft and clean. And still I somehow think they're a good fit.
Twin is essentially a clean white musk scent with a texture somewhere right between creamy and powdery, thanks to the iris. The almond blossom in this is not gourmand, to me it smells more like the "sweet doll skin" note heliotrope often has. Peach and rose are only light accents that make the scent a little livelier, they don't stand out in any way.
There is a skin-like warmth to this, but also an artificial sharpness, like hairspray, that makes it feel so clean it borders on sterile. But it never fully goes there, the musk keeps it from doing so.
The overall impression is very much a "I just showered and used a nice lotion" kind of scent. If scents had a color, it would definitely be white, no question.
Fluffy white musks are great to me, and I do like this, but I could do without the sharp hairspray note. I prefer my "your skin but better" scents smoother and warmer. Nice for the price though!
Because some people on here voted this to be similar to Cacharel Noa, I have to add that in my opinion they're not that close and Noa is superior in every way.
