This is a good warm weather fragrance that's basically a fresher take on the OG DNA. The lavender is there combined with fresh lime, and the more resinous mastic base. The mastic gives it some depth and keeps it from being too light. It's a somewhat unique note that mixes well with the lavender. This may also give it a more "mature" vibe, but the OG is a very old school fragrance itself, so this is to be expected.
Cologne Intense has a "blue" shower gel type of vibe without being too generic. The scent profile isn't entirely groundbreaking, but it is different enough than the other typical blue profiles that are out there. The Azzaro PH DNA is freshened up in Cologne Intense and becomes more modern without losing the character of the original. The mastic adds an interesting touch, but I feel like the note can be polarizing.
Overall a good buy, it's affordable and smells good. Longevity is 4-6 hours, but that's to be expected from a fresh fragrance like this. This gets really nice as it dries down too. Easy dumb reach fragrance for the warm weather, but may not be for everyone.
