Affordable Freshie with a Light Fruity Note
Baldessarini (Mäurer & Wirtz) is a low-budget brand in the perfume segment. After not being too impressed with "Cool Force," especially regarding its performance, the "Cool Force Sport" variant is another freshie with a shower gel vibe.
I like fresh, aquatic, and uncomplicated scents. Cool Force Sport is one of those. It has a fresh, slightly fruity opening, an aquatic heart (just like Cool Force, it doesn’t hold back on Calone), and a woody finish. That's it. I still find it a bit better than Cool Force, as the latter comes off as a cheap knockoff of Armani Acqua di Gio, while the Sport version has a slightly fresher and, above all, fruitier note: mandarin and especially pear are present throughout. This one also lasts only about 2 hours and is close to the skin, but in comparison, I would recommend this one. Both cost the same, so the comparison isn’t difficult.
By the way, I find the packaging design very nice and appealing, even though the colors and artwork are somewhat borrowed from Dior Homme Sport and the similarly named Very Cool Spray. If you're looking for a fresh, fruity shower gel scent for little money: this one is a good option. However, there are far better ones available, even in the same price segment (Nautica Voyage, Eau de Rochas, Adidas Move).
