Latest version is similar to This Is Her!

What a difference in this year's release! While I do see similarities between previous releases, there are enough changes this year that it could be a totally separate fragrance in my opinion. Comparing two:

Hexagon label: very sugary-sweet. The berries note came across more like sugar to me (or possibly cotton candy), than juicy or fruity berries. There were hints of sandalwood and cashmere, but it was mostly a toasted sugar to my nose. I waffled between loving it, and feeling like it was overkill.

This year (green label): so much better and more balanced than before! Less sugary, with more emphasis on the creamy sandalwood + airy cashmere. No fruity "berries" to be found. Reminds me of a slightly sweet, creamy, luxe-feeling lotion. Very similar to This Is Her! in my book, but without some of the nutty nuances that This Is Her! has.

This year's version has excellent projection and sillage, with moderate longevity for a mist (2-3 hours). Would work well for the office, any "enclosed spaces", or when you want to feel "effortless" (definitely a "your skin but better" blend). Also perfect for after a bath or shower, bedtime, or anytime when needing a relaxing, cozy, but clean fragrance to support the mood.
