I have found the gourmand of my dreams! Something I never expected, but welcomed, nonetheless.
Warm musk is the perfect Creamy Vanilla, Mature and smooth. I find other vanilla notes incredibly sweet, sugary or overstated. Once I smelled it, I knew that this had to be a part of my collection forever!
This scent really stirred up memories for me, I typically do have associations with scents and objects but not so many memories. It reminded me of when I was little, having cupcakes at the roller rink for my friend's birthday. Whipped vanilla icing, vanilla cake and laughter all around.
The Vanilla is rather mellow, a sweet milky vanilla to be exact. The Musk and amber definitely play their parts well in this combination to make the Vanilla muted and creamy. I think there is something ever so slightly buttery/salty but that could genuinely be my skin and lotion. It is not overpowering by any means, it stays a happy consistent until it dries down.
The Longevity on this spray is unlike any other Bath & Body Works spray I've had by far, well over nine hours this lasted. It dried down to something subtle on my skin, but on my clothes and blanket. This lasted overnight under two/one blankets! Impressive! The heat from my skin and trapped between the blankets made this smell like a sugar cookie! I was very impressed, even in my sleepy state. A perfect wakeup call to start my day off with. I can totally see it being a good summer/winter scent, specifically because of heat, be it from the sun or body really elevating this. Will certainly have it be a part of my rotation for both seasons!
I do think that the sillage of course, needs some help. Like other B&BW sprays, it doesn't have the lifespan it deserves. Alas, what you get for a body mist! However, I am fine with that given the Longevity for this spray! I am heavily considering picking up the Eau de Parfum version of this! Maybe more than one, to have a part of my collection!
Overall, this is one of my favorite smells this year! Definitely competing to be my signature scent. I would be very inclined to suggest someone to try this for themselves, of course- Always try before buying! That being said, if you were considering blind buying and enjoy less sweet vanilla. I could in good faith say that my experience was amazing with this spray. One of the most delicious vanilla's I've smelled!
