Aquatic Fougère... or rather the other way around?!
Once again, a scent from a "blind swap" that did NOT disappoint me! And yet another "blue"... or a "green"? Actually both, because blue & green scientifically combine to create a beautiful turquoise. The freshness is like a "Blue Lagoon", slightly salty-"aquatic", and with its mossy spiciness and citrusy-orange-grapefruit opening, it also embodies a fine Fougère!
It thus reminds me of Bleu de Chanel Eau de Toilette, but also of Missoni Wave or Cool Water Eau de Toilette, yet it has a more down-to-earth and mossy-earthy-woody character. In terms of spiciness, mint initially takes the lead. Without "Wrigley's Spearmint characteristics"! Then sage and nutmeg follow, while the geranium itself blends with the mint and citrus fruits into a cheerful mélange and is hardly present as a single note.
When the woods and moss make their appearance, the fragrance combines calm and movement into a wonderfully "turquoise" scent. Forest by the sea, that could be the motto. Fern forest on the Breton coast as well. To put it simply: I appreciate the uniqueness that still evokes memories ;-))
