Thank you, Nero!

Who would have thought it, certainly not me, it's been years since I last had my first bottle of Joop! What about Adam, this citrusy fruity top note, in the drydown the sweet notes mixed with wood and vetiver, oaah.

I haven't had this scent under my nose since the late 90s, but when I used Nero these days and again today, I knew it, it has the same fruity citrus top note and the same sweet notes followed as with Adam, I have never experienced a fragrance that came so close to it.
Sure, with Joop! the apple is the theme, but you hardly notice it unless you become a nitpicker, I enjoyed every single minute today, they are so similar.
One must of course understand a Benetton quality beforehand, I'm not saying that Nero would be a competitor to Adam, but I'd rather have a Nero than not have had Joop Adam for sure for 11 or 12 years now, and I don't think I ever will again, except for the bay.

The youthful-looking, relatively decent bottle fits quite well with these Benetton jeans types.
Longevity is more around 6 hours, then very close to the skin.
Sillage, good in the first hour, then decreasing and unobtrusive.

I am really grateful to have found it, especially since I decided at the last moment between Benetton Verde and Nero, luckily!
