OMG...Best Blind Buy of the Year

I don't like writing reviews and I'm more of a statement type. But sometimes a comfortable, short statement just isn't enough. Just like with this gem here

First of all...this is the fourth fragrance from this line that I've purchased, and each time it was a blind buy because I really liked the notes. And I haven't been disappointed by any of the four fragrances.

Exotic Musk (molecule-like, woody and absolutely underrated here), Majestic Cashmere (the woody, elegant gentleman) and Rich Pigmento (extremely rare and almost impossible to find - this fragrance is best worn with a Cuba Libre and a cigar).

My expectations for Magnetic Amber were therefore quite high, and I could hardly wait to receive it, unpack it, and smell it.

The bottle is very pretty, just like all the perfumes in the Beyond Collection. Only the cap could be significantly more solid and valuable. It is very light and already feels quite "cheap" (point deduction).

Now, however, to the most important part...the scent. In short: A Trrräumchen!

After the first spray and sniff, I was immediately smitten. How beautiful can a fragrance be? Both in terms of the scent itself and the quality (at this price). I immediately thought, "This is niche level!" and it can hold its own against heavyweights like Blonde Amber, etc. Regardless of the actual scent notes, I smell cinnamon, which probably comes from the combination of bergamot, cardamom, and the very subtly used incense. But I also detect gourmand notes. Definitely the vanilla, but also something that reminds me of marzipan. Now everyone reads "cinnamon, vanilla, marzipan" - isn't that just another heavy Christmas scent that can only be worn on certain occasions? Far from it - all these perceived notes come across not heavy or overwhelming but very airy, transparent, and above all harmonious.

One could also say that this is the scent DNA of a Spicebomb or Initio Rehab but without the pepper and overall smoother, enriched with gourmand aspects and not resinous amber. Thus, for me, it is a very versatile and wearable fragrance. Autumn, winter, and spring are absolutely suitable, but even on a warm summer evening, I can imagine wearing this little treasure. Longevity and sillage are good. No monster performance - but you don't really need that.

All in all, this is truly a blockbuster! For me, it is not only the best fragrance from the Beyond Collection but also the best of the entire house and my personal, unexpected new discovery and best blind buy of the year.
