I found it too dry as well (even though I usually like dry scents). It could be the ginger. Orange blossom can also do strange things sometimes; it depends on the combination. So far, I haven't found anything from Berdoues that works for me.
Oh, not among the more robust ones from the Crand-Crus series either? I actually find a few of them quite okay, just for everyday wear.
