It's not just the vanilla that does it!
So, now I'd like to write something honest. About a fragrance that I shouldn't really like. It's so out of my rather tart, woody range that it seems "strange" to rate it so highly.
Yes, it seems strange! Because although it is very vanilla-like, it lacks the sticky, sugary-sweet cloud so much because this vanilla is like "sandpaper". Coarsely powdery, enriched with myrrh, spices such as cardamom and clove, along with a woody base.
The floral notes refer to some violet rose and cool violets. There could also be some iris, but it always appears periodically and sporadically. Like a "living pulsation". The perfume works "from the depths of space", rising up, certain notes in the foreground, which then retreat again to create other combinations of themselves. Now I can even recognize warm citrus fruits that overlay the "sandpaper vanilla" and even make the aroma seem "bold". It lasts a very long time with moderate sillage in the 7 range, which is to say: Powerful, but never intrusive. As far as the "sweetness" is concerned, I have already made it clear... it is very delicate! And makes the composition deep and complete :-))
