A mossy-floral-woody mystery...
And once again, my nose and I have the honorable task of writing a letter of approval for an almost unknown perfume. It's not so easy to make out the details in such a complex fragrance. Here I am faced with a fragrant mystery. There are citrus fruits in play - especially at the beginning. It has the appearance of a fougère, which is then adorned with all kinds of unsweet flowers. First choice: spicy carnations and roses. In the background: some jasmine, possibly ylang ylang. Then almost woody notes. Woods (sandalwood? cedar?) compete with green notes. Ferns (although ferns don't really have a scent of their own)... but the first impression of a fougère is now fully confirmed. Now oakmoss and vetiver are added. Probably also some patchouli. I immediately recognize oakmoss as soon as it contains REAL oakmoss. This also applies to the sandalwood, which now fully unfolds its woody, velvety, dark and light aromas. The overall impression suggests a long-lasting, well-emitting "unisex" fragrance, although it is supposed to be a "women's perfume" according to the classification above. The initial mystery is now at least largely solved. And, as we all know, fragrances have no gender! The main thing is that a perfume appeals to the respective "noses" that use it. A small final remark: an olfactory transition from the 1980s to the 1990s. Although more 80s and a little bit of 1970s is also present. A mystical nose confusion - but super-good!!! :-))

Is this the scent of the TV series?

But that may be possible! I haven't watched the show myself :-)) Nowadays there are also perfumes for "Babylon Berlin" - series very interesting - fragrances a bit boring ....
