gs01 Biehl Parfumkunstwerke 2007

I discovered this fragrance about 7-8 years ago. A small sample that blew me away. And then I let it sit, pregnancy and motherhood got in the way, resulting in a long pause with fragrances. What I had was used occasionally, that was it. Two months ago, I ordered a sample pack, including this fragrance, and everything came rushing back. Only one thing was different - I was different. It was probably the most mature fragrance decision ever, now I own the whole bottle and this will be THE fragrance for this autumn.
I’m not very good at describing the individual notes, so I’ll share my experiences instead. A very warm, touching fragrance. Feminine, but not too sweet or sticky. It envelops you like a fine voile, silky and delicate. Slightly powdery and not flat on the skin, it opens up wonderfully, especially in autumn temperatures. From my perspective, it’s not a summer fragrance, more suited for the autumn blues.
After a few hours, a lot of warm wood remains, the green-fruity notes have disappeared and you linger in a warm, light cloud.
I can completely understand the comments of "not for me." It’s not everyone’s favorite, the fragrance has to fit and should be worn several times before you decide on it. But when that happens, it becomes a long, faithful love. Like coming home.
