Feminine fruit basket with a bed linen touch, enriched with a hint of rice

Am I being critical again at this point? I always have a slight unease in the back of my mind with scents that remind me of fresh, white bed linen at first, because they ultimately (almost) always have quite a bit of Iso E Super or similar added.

Here, I'm not entirely sure, Biehl presents a light, airy scent that starts off fresh and drifts slightly into a spring-like floral territory. Constructed more femininely than masculinely, with contributions from a mild peach, freesia, and water lily.

Noteworthy as an unusual note is the basmati rice, which actually appears as a background milky-nutty whisper - similar to the impression one gets when sticking their head into a steaming pot of rice during a visit to a Chinese restaurant. It fits sensibly into the overall composition.

All in all, "gs01" is an extremely light-footed scent, almost shallow, that does not justify the hefty 150 euros (100 ml). Nice, spring-like, unobtrusive, coherent within itself, but also extremely flat in its bed linen-like cleanliness.

Meaning? I can't quite see it.

I can only agree with that; I felt quite similar about it. It didn't capture my interest enough, and in the end, it was too vague for me to dedicate a comment to it.
