I love it!
KIDA was a special edition from the house of Birkholz. This fragrance was created in collaboration with actor Kida Khodr Ramadan and is sold exclusively at easycosmetic.
In fact, this scent has managed to become one of my favorites from this brand.
To be honest, I didn't expect much at the time, but the reviews were very positive, so I felt "forced" to make a blind purchase on day X as a big fan of the brand. Luckily, I did!
It is exactly my kind of fragrance.
Not particularly complex, but also not 0-8-15. Slightly dark and with an oriental touch.
Anyone who enjoys scents like Bvlgari Man In Black will surely find a lot of joy in this one.
That's how I felt as well.
The Bvlgari Man in Black also has this slightly oriental vibe with dark undertones for me. It is pleasantly spicy, slightly dark, and at the same time possesses a certain sweetness.
This combination somehow attracts me as a man in a magical way.
I want to smell it forever and spray the perfume on myself, and I feel the same way about the KIDA from Birkholz. You also have this pleasantly spicy yet sweet aspect here.
There is a dark vein, an oriental touch, wonderful woody notes combined with a fantastic tobacco note. To my nose, this is truly pure enjoyment.
Over time, the fragrance generally becomes a bit warmer and sweeter.
It loses a little of its "edges," if you can even call them that. This phase is also very nice, but I find the initial phase with its slight edges and contours to be grandiose. Otherwise, the progression is quite linear. You don't have strong changes or countless transformations here, but as I often mention, I actually appreciate that.
The scent lasts about nine hours on my skin. The sillage is moderate. The KIDA has phases where it definitely projects strongly and really comes alive. At the same time, I also feel that it takes breaks from time to time. For my personal taste, I wish it would consistently be more intense.
Why? Because I simply love this DNA. I have always wished for the Bvlgari Man In Black to have better performance because I find that DNA simply brilliant. With the KIDA, I have found a fragrance that personally operates in a similar realm, lasts significantly longer, and projects better.
Unisex?
Certainly, a woman can wear this fragrance, and I think it can really come off as "sexy." You also have a certain sweetness included!
But I can still understand why the fragrance is officially marketed as a men's scent.
