Fjällsjö Björk & Berries 2020 Eau de Parfum

Fresh laundry fans, pay attention... oh no, never mind..
With joyful anticipation, I tackled the next sample kit. The Scandinavians generally promise to better meet my preferences. What will it be? Fjällsjö gets to go first.
The original bottle reminds me of my lab glasses or apothecary bottles. Very clean and simple! Let's call it Nordic minimalism. Available in 50ml or 100ml sizes.
Let’s put it on the skin. Oh, I like this - a clean, white soap scent, somewhere between white Lenor and a sporty version of Dove shower gel. Spray strength in the laundry room. Is this still perfume or are these already laundry beads? Strong association with Pure Soap
As soon as the flowers start to spread a bit wider and the softened cotton is nudged aside, I become uncertain. In my opinion, it becomes more feminine than unisex from here on, and it starts to annoy me a little, but at least it doesn't tip into sweetness.
The whole composition remains very watery, lightly swirling, synthetic, only to melt away like the last ice in spring. Musk? Amber? Washed away by the snowmelt.
The longevity is unfortunately not particularly great for an EdP. After three hours, there’s nothing left on my skin - given the price range, that’s unacceptable. Many significantly cheaper EdTs perform better. B&B also offers the scent as a perfume oil, but 49€/10ml seems a bit steep to me, even as a fan of clean fragrances.
No and goodbye.
