September Björk & Berries 2020 Eau de Parfum

I am testing "September | Björk & Berries" as part of the B&B Sample Kit, and I find the pyramid indicated here "interesting" (more in the bio-lexical sense), although this is not really the direction I usually lean towards. Spicy/Woody and unisex can also quickly become very aftershave-like (is that a word?). Long story short, my skin chemistry has a say in this too - as it does this time.

Sauna means "bastu" in Swedish, and visiting one is a wonderful pastime in the cold, dark season. Since we are also approaching the 5-7°C mark again in Germany in this fickle April, that would certainly be an option...

No trace of citrus or white flowers - I am enveloped in a mix of smoke, wood, and something herbal-bitter. Thorbjörn has fired up the sauna stove for the first time in the wet September, but the chimney isn't drawing properly, and a bit of wild herb cutting has also been burned. Something like that. Then a box full of old newspaper for kindling is added to the mix. Nej kära vänner, this won't work.
I smell as if I stood too close to the flames at the last Easter bonfire and someone illegally disposed of a painted pallet in the flames. Thorbjörn is still chopping more fresh wood for the stove.

>2€/ml is not worth it for me for the incense scent - on other skin or perhaps more on the Y-chromosome carriers here, it might work, but I end the sauna session prematurely and jump into the lake to escape the smell.

Addendum: I get out of the lake and it still smells like smoke - this stuff is persistent!
