Overwhelming, Transcendent
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, this scent literally knocks me off my Birkstöckel!
If I read this correctly, the brand Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab is dedicated to fragrances with a certain Gothic or Mystic touch. Apparently, all scents are offered as oils, which I personally do not find great, as I do not wear fragrances exclusively on my skin. Oils are not particularly suitable for applying to clothing without leaving stains.
Rapture is my third test candidate, and what I notice here is that the oils tested so far somehow smell like an eco-boutique.
Rapture is a very intense floral scent with an incense-like undertone. The defining note here is jasmine combined with myrrh. These two notes completely overshadow all the others, and there is no development of the scent. Rapture remains one-dimensional from the beginning until it is washed off, making it somewhat exhausting.
Rapture evokes in me, aside from aversion, no emotion whatsoever. I feel more overwhelmed than transcendent!
