The pyramid is not complete....
....and there is also no option to click "oily" and "musty" in the classifications.
I became the (un)happy owner of a whole bag of samples from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab through an overly eager action while purchasing samples. Had I looked at the brand's website beforehand, I might have at least guessed where the wind was blowing from. Well, all the samples contain fragrance oils. So, a sillage is not noticeable at first, and once you have the drop on your skin, it's too late, because the longevity is good to very good for all the perfumes.
There is a small dark shop in our old town where the young people, affectionately called "Gothics" here, dressed in black, buy their clothes, jewelry, and of course, fragrances. I have been a customer there too, because where else can you find black coats in size 34? I like the people, I have never had bad experiences with them. But when you walk past this shop in the summer, a cold breeze of patchouli and other musty notes wafts towards you, and that is exactly what Black Tower reminds me of. I do not recognize any of the notes listed in the pyramid. Neither leather nor ivy, and the scent is not really burnt, so smoky either. I can rather detect a red wine note, but the kind that emanates from a leftover glass the next morning. So, not exactly pleasant. When can you wear this? I only clicked on leisure. And a man who "smells" like this, I would first send him to the shower.
In the meantime, I have tested some of the fragrance oils. Some are at least still original, even if incense and patchouli almost take your breath away. But Black Tower is just dirty-musty for me. I also think I won't be writing many comments about the brand's products.
