Bananalessland

The scents from Blackbird are quite special. To appreciate them, one probably needs to know that the people are big fans of science fiction. And so, the best way to explore these scents is under the label "futuristic."

According to Blackbird, this fragrance represents a dystopian future where there are no more bananas and rich people wear synthetic fruit scents. This inevitably makes me think of the film "Bladerunner" (the original). So let’s imagine a future where there are no fruits left, only artificial fruit notes. And since there are no originals anymore, the fruit notes will also become increasingly artificial over time. Around bananas, for whatever reason, there swirls an enticing myth, which is why everyone wants to smell banana scents around them.

Curtain up for "Y06-S." Total banana and of the most artificial kind - but the poor banana-less future people just don’t know how real bananas smell. They probably find jasmine ultra-sexy, so that definitely can’t be missing. And, oooops, a few burnt cable remnants have fallen into the mixing vat - but that’s hard to avoid, because Bananalessland is: cables, everywhere cables!
(One just has to acknowledge that Blackbird has indeed managed to realize the overheated electronics note in the fragrance)

Y06-S doesn’t have to be considered sexy. Or wearable. Or suitable for the masses. Or appropriate for Sunday visits to Grandma. One just has to be able to imagine that in another possible world, one that might lie in the distant future, people find that sexy. And wearable. And suitable for the masses. And appropriate for Sunday visits to Grandma’s hologram.

In short: Few will probably want to wear the scent, but smelling it is an experience. And you can have an incredible amount of fun with it if you embrace the somewhat quirky world of Blackbird.

Very interesting... and nice not to have to test something spontaneously :D However, the story behind it fascinates me :)

I agree, Vrabec. If there were a button for originality here, the scent would get a 10/10.

..and the low rating doesn't necessarily mean that the scent is bad or that you won't like it. Nice comment!
