A different rose
A different rose, at least on my skin.
Rose opens with dusty notes and, accomplice to the geranium, offers a bitter, fresh and sensual rose, different from what one might expect.
I see it as a rose overwhelmed by other flowers , a splendid portrayal of spring, realistic, not cloying and very well executed.
A beautiful love story but with a sad epilogue, suffering, steeped in passion, like that of Juliet and Romeo.
And yes, how not to quote one of the most beautiful and well-known phrases in literature:
"Romeo, why are you called Romeo?
Change your name.
After all, what is a name?
What we call a rose,
by any other name,
would smell just as sweetly."
Here I place the scent I am smelling right now, sweet but incredibly strong and full of love.
