"Hamptons" - like white sails of small boats shining on the blue water while the summer sun laughs above.
The brand Bond No.9 is not particularly highly regarded by many connoisseurs of niche perfumes within the perfume community. The reason for this is the business policy of the perfume house; when 10 to 15 new fragrances are launched each year, it becomes difficult to maintain high standards. Inevitably, mediocre perfumes are also thrown onto the market. But not all are bad, and there are indeed good scents from the creative team around Laurice Rahmé. Each fragrance creation represents a specific location in Downtown, Midtown, or Uptown, and honoring each New York neighborhood with its own scent is an excellent idea. From an aesthetic point of view, the bottle has a very high recognition value, although taste-wise, differentiation is also necessary here. Personally, I really like these stars; especially due to the different designs, they almost have a collector's value for lovers of the city of New York.
Like myself, I belong to the lovers of this vibrant and multifaceted city. During my Sturm und Drang period, New York was my chosen home. After studying at the university in Germany, I was magically drawn to New York to study market sciences there. The journey there was very rocky, costing me a lot of energy and financial strength. Finally, I managed to secure a study place at the State University of New York - Brockport. In this phase of my life, I was able to take away many beautiful memories of this city. That’s why a large part of this flacon holds a very special, sentimental value for me, like this one, Hamptons by Bond No.9.
If it hadn't been for this Hamptons. Hamptons is located on the enchanting coastline of Long Island and attracts numerous visitors to its fine sandy beaches on the weekends. Behind the dunes, you discover well-kept villas with white wooden cladding, and relaxed people greet you as they walk their dogs by the sea in the morning. My friends from university and I often went there on weekends to recharge our batteries. Unfortunately, the drive along Highway NY-17-W was very long, but the 8-hour journey was always worth it.
Summer, sun, and the sea-the fresh, aquatic Hamptons by Bond No.9 with bergamot and lime blossom in the top notes, jasmine and magnolia in the heart notes, and amber and sandalwood in the base notes perfectly reflects what makes this beautiful spot on earth so special. The perfume Hamptons rightly carries its name, as it inevitably evokes associations with the view over the Atlantic Ocean that washes over the Hamptons at the tip of Long Island. White sails of small boats shine on the blue water while the summer sun laughs above.
All these wonderful memories are awakened in me when I sniff this fragrance today.
