I'm known to be at odds with clean musk these days, BUT I absolutely adore sensual musk (sorry, but that's how it is). So I can totally see how this fragrance could catch someone's attention.
I'm happy for you that this scent develops so harmoniously for you ☀️! I even once gifted a Guerlain fragrance that didn't work for me at all, but brought great joy to the person I gave it to!
With something this special, tastes really vary a lot. I just find it a bit uncool that some people hardly dare to give good ratings to mainstream fragrances like Ombre Nomade, BR540, Naxos, Erba Pura, etc. It's great that we all perceive scents differently!

What a perfect match when a scent continues to captivate you time and again. This soft musky sexiness intrigues me; it doesn't always have to be over the top.
Musk is a note that either appeals to me or is too wild for my taste.

I was already used to this on Parfumo from the start because my favorite fragrance had a rating of 5.5 when I signed up. We also had a discussion about ratings with the Emerald Dragon. If it helps, just see it as your personal secret if others don’t appreciate the scent as much and you have a connection to it.
First of all, the scent sounds like it could be something I’d enjoy. Secondly, I think it’s really unfortunate and sad that you feel the need to justify giving it a 10. It doesn’t matter what others think of a fragrance. If it’s a 10 for you, then that’s what it is, and it shouldn’t be questioned.

I can't rule out that there might be slight differences, as I unfortunately don't know the wooden cap version. However, since your impressions are similar to mine, there's a good chance you'll still like it. :-)

I thought long and hard about whether to write a statement. In the past, when I gave a fragrance a 10, the expectations were too high. Some even took it upon themselves to rate those scents poorly just to get back at me.
But I’ve loved this scent since day one and looked forward to wearing it every spring bloom and the first warm rays of sunshine.
Yes, it’s not a classic cologne, and the performance is close to the skin, but that’s part of its charm because I enjoy it for myself.
This orange accord is delicious and refreshing at the same time. The flowers have a buttery soft aura with a pleasantly green-bitter tea aroma.
But for me, the star of the fragrance, alongside the orange, is the musk. Not white musk and not animalic musk. More like a sexy, sensual, skin-warm musk.
That's exactly what I'm wondering too.. I don't quite get ALD with their warehouses in Europe, but you can find Bortnikoff in quite a few perfume shops now. The scents also look noticeably lighter and more transparent, so it would be interesting to do a direct comparison with the old batches.
You don't need to justify your high rating; in the end, it's all a matter of taste :)
Unfortunately, I don't know that myself, so I've never dared to make a blind purchase.
I also don't understand how real musk is officially sold in Germany?
Anyway, my version is slowly coming to an end :-(
