Bottega Veneta Essence Aromatique Bottega Veneta 2014

The Aromatique is aptly named, as it indeed comes across as aromatic. High quality, it clings to my skin from the very first contact and spreads a pleasant spiciness. Lightly underscored by gentle citrus notes that slowly dissipate. I really like the opening, as it brings a kick of freshness to the day.

The theme here is naturally the spiciness, with a cold freshness, gentle lemon that slowly sinks into the green meadows. A wonderful scent for spring, but also for the fading summer. It fits very well on rainy days, as I have experienced and enjoyed several times. It's truly fabulous when you get a little wet, or when you open the window from a warm room and let the cool freshness in. It really invigorates the body, mind, and soul. You can really smell the scent of wet asphalt and wet wood. Yes, that excites me!

The scent here prolongs the enjoyment, as it adapts very well to these circumstances.
Over time, patchouli comes in subtly, but it doesn't overpower; instead, it joins the other components in a reserved manner.

In the end, it becomes slightly sweet, with a pleasant powdery quality. As mentioned, the main theme, the pleasant spiciness, with the present freshness and the nice green, are always there.

In short, it's described for me.
A spicy, fine enjoyment.
I think this scent can be seen and smelled well.
The sillage is in the middle range, and the longevity for me is around 7 hours, during which it beautifully melds with the skin's surface.

I am positively impressed and already looking forward to the next rain :)
