Knot Eau Absolue Bottega Veneta 2018

1 Drop = Luscious Sensuality
Thick, dark, and viscous, the spicy honey drips from a giant honeycomb in slow motion. Under the beehive, a sticky, thick mass has already collected in a wooden bowl. Orange-yellow, almost shifting to brown, shiny and pearlescent, this fragrant delicacy presents itself.
Too precious to eat, for nothing smells more wonderful than this floral-infused spicy honey.
Notes of strong orange blossom, bitter lavender, and delicate jasmine can be perceived. Viscously blended with balsamic notes. Subtle resinous undertones, slight herbal influences, and minimal woody undertones balance the nectar-like sweetness.

In a fragrance, this honey unfolds its full sensuality.
A drop of this sweet poison awakens desire.
A drop dabbed behind the ear and between the feminine curves exudes noble attraction without appearing vulgar.
A scent that never needs more than a drop to make an impact.
However, two drops are too much. Quickly, this narrow line between sensuality and attraction becomes blurred and transforms into annoying penetrance and incomprehensible opulence.
Then the O-blossom becomes terribly exhausting, the viscous honey note clogs the senses, and the magic of the fragrance has vanished.
That is also the reason why Knot Eau Absolue will never find its way into my collection.
The margin between "too much" and "just right" is too narrow for me.
After all, there is a difference between being perceived as delicately sensual upon entering a room or having my scent cloud scream "Hello, here I am" 10 minutes before I even step in...
However, I can imagine that a lady who is really INTO THAT could be very happy with this fragrance.
H+S is bomb. The scent accompanies you all day, on clothing for weeks.
