Parco Palladiano V: Lauro Bottega Veneta 2016

Normally, I prefer short statements, but here more needs to be said.
Lauro was the start of my fragrance journey. Back then, I didn't know that I was dealing with a little masterpiece. This scent is very hard to describe. Lauro is delicate yet energetic. Green, but not a "freshie." Aromatic, but not herbal. I don't overly detect any of the fragrance notes. Everything is wonderfully balanced. Bay leaf, rosemary, and sage are accompanied by floral notes. Wood, resin, and pepper remain in the background.
Lauro is pure elegance. If I had to describe the scent with an image, it would be a walk through a Mediterranean garden in spring.
