My least favorite Fantasy
Britney Spears perfumes are my favorite celebrity line, I love many of them and the few that I don't like are still okay. Unfortunately Electric Fantasy is the first Britney scent I actively dislike.
There is something very scratchy about this that reminds me of basic men's fragrances, deodorants and shower gels. When I look at the notes list, I'm sure it must be coming from the ambroxan, but I don't always have this problem with ambroxan scents. Some just have that fuzzy synthetic woods quality to them, which I don't mind at all. I guess there are different kinds of ambroxan on the market, or the mix with pink pepper makes this especially harsh to me.
Valentino Born in Roma has that scratchiness, too, so I guess the comparison between these two I saw around the web is apt.
The rest of the scent is fine. Sweet fruit, creamy white florals and a fresh laundry vibe that reminds me of YSL Libre a bit. I definitely get orange blossom, passion fruit and some other fruity notes from this. Too bad that they're buried under the sharp ambroxan.
I think this is the most unisex leaning Britney fragrance so far, more so than Prerogative.
