Found at the bargain table with B-goods, the outer packaging supposedly slightly damaged. I found no flaws and tossed it into my basket for 10€. I was aware that the longevity wouldn't be great, but I want to let go of the idea that everything I wear ultimately "wears me" and floods every room with scent molecules. Those days were wild, but they are over.
For me, the fragrance starts with the often-mentioned mandarin, but quickly transitions to a peppery-spicy and very woody scent. The name fits, as it reminds me of the small wooded area around the corner where I often walk my dog in the mornings. In the background, hints of incense occasionally shine through. Towards the end, it becomes increasingly dry.
The bottle in the 50ml variant looks good on the shelf, but it is just simple glass with a light wooden cap and a sticker label.
Sillage? Phew, generously about an hour at arm's length. You can talk yourself into it with the chosen occasions like shopping, walking, having a beer.
Those who work in an office or in crafts and are not in the mood for the usual freshies will gladly reach for this.
For me personally, it’s a Saturday morning scent. Hoodie, cap, and sneakers, running a few errands and starting the weekend carefree.
Carefree fits, because after 3 hours it’s like this review... over.
