Last week I happened to be at Müller, and I noticed the new bottle of 'Bruno Banani Man Limited Edition', which is supposed to be the new summer fragrance from the company. And since I had a few vouchers from a competing company with me, I was able to buy a bottle for under €10. It looks pretty good, something different, and it's nice and colorful.
The new Limited Edition has nothing to do with the well-known 'Man'. While 'Man' is a spicy-oriental fragrance, the Limited Edition starts off fruity and fresh. Although not as fresh as one might expect from a summer fragrance. I can't really identify any specific fruits, though.
The Limited Edition then becomes sweeter and briefly floral. The fruity notes recede more and more, and something woody slowly creeps into the fragrance's development.
The more the fragrance becomes woody, the more it also retreats.
After about three hours, the Limited Edition is a soft woody and amber close-to-skin scent, lacking any freshness.
'Bruno Banani Man Limited Edition' is synthetic from the start, and I can't really name any note from the fragrance pyramid.
In really summery temperatures, I can't imagine wearing it.
The projection is not very strong, and the longevity for me is more like five than six hours.
P.S. The bottle looks not quite as colorful in person as depicted here.
