Bulgarian Rose Karlovo came to me from Austria. As a rose enthusiast, I was already familiar with many rose fragrances, but this one surpasses almost all Damascena scents.
So authentic, intense, and long-lasting!
The perfume comes with a strong spray from the smart, elegant 30 ml bottle, quite oily in its consistency due to the high perfume oil content.
You are immediately transported to its homeland, Bulgaria.....what an aroma, so many overwhelming roses exude their essence! So powerful!
I am in the wide rose field of Damascena!
A sea of red, velvety, ripe, truly plump roses, warmed by the June sun.....
What a splendor of roses with all their greenery, bringing freshness with them...
I wore the rose mostly during the day...and even more often in the evening,
to relax...to melt away...until one sinks into lovely rose dreams...
The next morning....my roses are still there....I can still feel the scent wafting.
Did I sleep in a bed of roses?
Bulgarian Rose Karlovo perfumes are not yet so established, you can still get them at quite reasonable prices.
In terms of presence, intensity, and longevity, I compare it to Montale fragrances. If such a scent composition were a Montale,
it would be called Red Roses Queen!
Oh yes, it's the most beautiful rose perfume for me too. That's why it's already empty. Off to Sofia, and there to pack the suitcase with the Eau, the soaps, the hand creams...
wonderful real roses! for me, the scent of home. Bulgarian rose fragrances have nothing in common with the local Western ones - they are very authentic + a delight for all rose fans. there are so many countless varieties there: red, white, pink + a song to go with it ;)
I've gotten better acquainted with the rose now and realize that not all roses are the same *duck* I think you are the true Red Roses Queen! :-D Great supportive comment from you for a relatively unknown brand :-)
Since I'm currently into rose scents (the season definitely plays a role), I'm adding this one to my wishlist quickly. :-)
I'm sure it won't be easy to test or buy in Germany, right?!?
