A nice, but pricey designer vanilla

I haven’t always had the best luck with Burberry, so I was skeptical about this perfume. Goddess is a beautiful vanilla scent that teeters between gourmand and fresh vanilla. It’s a very gorgeous scent that any vanilla lover could fall for. To my nose and on my skin, it’s a vanilla bomb with lavender. I don’t get much cacao or ginger, but there is some underlying spiciness, so maybe I am getting the ginger? I’m not familiar with vanilla caviar, but there is also a richness + saltiness to the fragrance that makes it addictive.

As for what it smells like, this reminds me most of Lush Twilight, but simpler, more refined, and toned down on the lavender. Tbh, I think I prefer Twilight because it’s more ambery and has a bit more personality than Goddess. Goddess is for the super refined classy woman, which I wouldn’t say I’m not, but I’m also not about to spend what Goddess costs for some vanilla and lavender. It does also remind me of Mon Guerlain, but MG is more complex (but it doesn’t give me sexy the way Goddess does).

Goddess is appropriate to wear in all seasons, and I can’t speak to longevity, but the projection is moderate and very pleasant. If you have the money to splurge on this, I think it’s worth a buy. Definitely not groundbreaking but I’m happy to have tried it. I’ll consider buying a FB at some point though because it is really nice.
