Vanilla but not gourmand
Opens very Mon Guerlain-sh but with heaps and heaps of vanilla. The lavender isn’t as pronounced but it is enough for a little aromatic vibe! The ginger is a nice element as it makes the vanilla slightly fresh, such that the perfume isn’t gourmand and never gets too sweet. Goddess is a very well constructed perfume, and one that I fell in love with instantly! It performs well with good projection etc but it never gets noisy! I can also see the perfume fitting many occasions/activities and working in all seasons. The bottle is elevated and looks expensive. I think the advertising campaign captures the essence of the fragrance well. That said, I hate the price. It is ridiculous and greedy. Would I repurchase? I think so. I am moving into this type of vanilla profile and Goddess fits the bill.
