Her Eau de Toilette - Pear & Honeysuckle Perfection

I was late to the game in discovering this one; it took until this past summer for me to give the Burberry Her discovery set a try. But even so, I was surprised at how quickly I took to the EDT of the set, as I normally lean towards EDP's for sake of longevity and projection.

The most obvious difference between Her EDT and the more well-known members of the line-up (Her EDP, Her Intense, Her Elixir, namely) is that rather than featuring a prominent berry note, this flanker features pear. There is strawberry listed in the notes, but it doesn't make itself known here. Instead, you get a beautifully fresh, crisp-yet-juicy green pear that melts rather seamlessly into the heart of the fragrance. Peony, rose, and lily-of-the-valley are also present, perhaps mostly the lily-of-the-valley and peony, but honeysuckle takes center stage. Even better is that, for being such a sweet floral note, the honeysuckle doesn't become too overbearing or cloying, and so this fragrance can still be enjoyed even on hot and humid summer days. I don't find that the musk and cedarwood base stand out much, but rather that they quietly support the blend as a whole.

Her EDT quickly became my favorite out of the entire Her line. Easy to wear in both casual and professional settings, fresh, feminine, and effortless. This is the fragrance that helped solidify my love for pear fragrances, as well as opened my mind to exploring eau de toilettes further.

My *only* qualm is with the bottle shape. I can't be the only one who sees the similarities between the Her bottles and vapes, can I? The opaque ones (Elixir and Intense) are the worst offenders, in my opinion. Not the worst bottles I've encountered, certainly, but just a bit awkward!
