I regret buying this

Ive changed my mind on this fragrance a couple of times. I ended up buying it and thought it was pleasant enough to use as a grab and go perfume for work, however I find the scent really bland. I can barely smell it and, having worn it a few times now, it has a weird musky note in the background that I just don’t like. This isn’t powdery, which I wouldn’t have minded, it’s a dusty musky skin scent. I really have to dig my face into my wrist to smell anything, and that’s with spraying it a whole tonne! If I had gotten an 80’s strawberry shortcake smell I would have kept it for the nostalgic value, but I don’t get that either sadly, I also don’t get much berry. Maybe it’s my sense of smell. If anything I find this scent actually just irritates me now, to the point I will sell it cheap, give it way just to get rid of it. If my opinion changes or something changes with what I smell from this I’ll change my review, but for now I’ll stick to Meraki by Botanicae!

Ha! Your review was my exact response to the EDP, but with that weird animalic musk amped up and the artificial berry even stronger. I didn’t enjoy it all so gave it away. Years later the elixir came along and I don’t dislike it, but it’s not my favourite either. Mostly bought it for the warm weather as a quick grab and go. For this scent profile it might be better sticking to variations of Pink Sugar, or even Simone Andreoli Pacific Park. This costs too much to be basic.

It’s funny when i smell this next to Meraki (which is also a delicious creamy, powdery berry scent) Burberry her smells like a scratch and sniff piece of cardboard. It’s so bad. I’ll just have to try and sell it. I’m lucky I got quite a discounted price on this I guess.
