One of my first bottles I ever purchased after taking one whiff of a spray from a decant and I had to have this in my life.
Pretty much sweet pine and some balsamic spiciness. Vibing with the outdoors here. Through the mids comes up a sort of smoky vanilla note, but not very sweet. Just enough to compliment the top along with some incense type note to play in the background. The base is exploding with cedar, but fear not, it's not all pencil shavings. It's more complex. I would assume the different cedars brings out the best in each other and you are left with a slightly dry resinous, cedar powerhouse that lacks the sweetness of many modern scents of today, which, in my opinion, is welcome to my palate.
While it can be hard to pull off in the dog days of summer, even in cooler summer days, I can give this a spray or two and be pleased. I have to admit, I am not much for designer fragrances these days, but this one makes my cut. Well worthy of anyone seeking a masculine outdoors scent.
