Pastel lilac

This is clearly a lilac fragrance to my nose, even though lilac is not listed. I swear it's not just because of the color. Amethyst purple could stand for many flowers: Violet, iris, heliotrope, wisteria, even some fruit like plum and fig. But what I get here is lilac, clear as day, with its nectar-like sweetness and a softly ozonic, watery touch. I think that might be the plant juice note!
Later in the drydown, the iris comes out more and the scent turns quite powdery. Otherwise, it's linear without any surprising turns. I really enjoy the burst of lilac at the start, but it gets a little boring over the duration of the scent.

I'd say that this is a nice daytime option for spring. It's soft and inoffensive, not screechy like some lilac fragrances can be. I see this gets compared to the Yves Rocher lilac scents, and in my opinion, those really hit you on the head with a hammer made of a million purple blossoms. Omnia Amethyste is more subtle and demure, very fitting for the transparent light purple of the bottle. I wouldn't chose this for myself, but I would absolutely not mind smelling it somewhere.
