A floral-sweet creamy comment, just for you ungrateful bunch :D

Hey hey everyone! I hope as always that you miss me and have been eagerly waiting for me here! Because… as Peter Venkman (played by Bill Murray) said in Ghostbusters: “I’m a man! I have the need to be desired and loved!” … or something like that :D

He he, well, it’s probably just that you’re not waiting for me, but for my comments *siiiiigh how mean*… I should be offended now, but I’m just too nice to you heartless ladies :DD

Anyway, today we’re talking about Bvlgari’s “Splendida - Magnolia Sensuel.” Since Bvlgari has many different fragrances in its repertoire, some of which smell terrible while others smell amazing, you can’t really say in advance what to expect. You can only check if you like the fragrance notes. For example, I see mandarin listed, which I always find very cool, as mandarins not only taste good but also smell really nice. The only downside: In my opinion, the scent of a mandarin is somehow very feminine, so I don’t have any mandarin fragrances here with me *sigh* However, I find the scent “Eau de Mandarine Ambrée” so great… ugh, so many beautiful things are of course only available for you women, tss…

Be that as it may, I can still test all these wonderful fragrances and present them to you here, since… you want to see more of my comments than me, right??? Yes yes yes… How mean! … I should be mean too… have you ever thought that all the fragrance descriptions in my comments could be totally wrong? Mu ha ha ha ha :DDD

**The fragrance:**
The fragrance starts citrusy and floral. In the citrus scents, I detect oranges, but it could also be the mandarins, though it seemed a bit more orangey to me. The floral notes are quite sweet and very intense, so I attribute them to magnolias, as well as jasmine, since the sweetness smells more like jasmine sweetness.
Neroli soon joins in and gives off its slightly orangey-floral scent, while the actual oranges are becoming weaker.
A little later, the fragrance continues to smell floral and sweet, but now also soft and almost creamy. Now the somewhat weak oranges actually seem like beautiful and delicious mandarins primarily due to the sweetness of the fragrance.
In the end, the fragrance remains floral and sweet, with the sweetness, as often, coming more from the vanilla, making the scent gentle or keeping it gentle. And with the lingering fruity notes in the background, the fragrance also seems beautifully creamy. All in all, this Bvlgari is one of the most beautiful scents of this brand for me.

**The sillage and longevity:**
The sillage is not bad. It’s not the best, but also not the weakest, and is perfectly sufficient to be noticed for a while. I found the longevity quite good at over ten hours.

**The bottle:**
The wine-red bottle is rectangular but slopes steeply upwards at the front, making it look like a lipstick, especially due to the red color. A gold-plated cap sits on the neck, which, together with the cylindrical neck, resembles an ancient column. There’s no label, which would have only been a distraction, as the bottle looks very nice just as it is.

So, I mentioned at the beginning that Bvlgari has both good and bad fragrances. This Splendida here definitely belongs to the very good fragrances of this brand, as it smells very beautiful and feminine. It has a sweet and floral scent and for a while also has a light, but not overly playful, fruity touch that also seems quite delicious and might appeal to those who don’t like fruity scents, as I wouldn’t really describe the scent here as fruity despite the mandarin note, but rather floral-sweet and creamy.

Due to its nice aura, it has become a very suitable fragrance for me, especially for going out, which can be used for all occasions. Furthermore, it’s an autumn fragrance that could perhaps also be worn on cool spring days. As I said, the scent is very beautiful and thus worth a try.

Well, that’s it then. Until my next… scribble… aaargh! Have a great rest of the holiday and see you then :)

Very nice review... it has sparked my curiosity about this scent... and since I love mandarin fragrances, you've also made the Eau de Mandarine Ambrée sound appealing... Mandarin trophy for you!

Sounds great and definitely needs to be tested! Have you tried Clementine California yet? Clementine, mandarin, and satsuma are all quite similar...
