Nice but nothing outstanding
Having smelled this in store, I originally passed it over. The other omnia option there for test stood out to me a bit more, and I didn't get much from this off a strip of paper after I'd already smelled 7 or 8 other things. But with the little sprayer sample I've received in a variety pack, I have found myself pleasantly surprised. The jasmine is of a greener variety, invoking leaves and stems and crisp white flowers over anything indolic, sweet or creamy. It blends nicely with the more aquatic lotus note and very lightly herbal tea. The pear and mandarin meld together in an inoffensive but difficult to distinguish fruity note that fades quickly to reveal the bitter, herbal tea note in the middle.
When setting out to write this review, I didn't think I'd have so much to say! Now I feel like I'm convincing myself not to buy a bottle. My real opinion is: it's fine! I just love fresh florals so much. It's nothing to write home about. Looking at the notes, I think I'd really love to smell the original version - I read that Bvlgari customer support responded to a user saying the scent didn't change with the bottle, but that seems dubious to me. I'm glad I have a sample, I think at most I'd want like a 10ml of this. I would so wear this to a waterpark just to smell like nothing after 2 minutes in the wave pool.
