Bal d'Afrique Byredo 2009 Eau de Parfum

I love the initial burst of bright fruit before the floral and woody notes come through. It smells like summer but somewhere hot and dry like Arizona or a desert rather than somewhere tropical and humid. The citrus notes come and go for a few hours, before the earthy and woody notes take over. From time to time, a slight powdery note appears.
