I had the opportunity to extensively test this interesting scent in a group of fragrance enthusiasts. The opinions were quite mixed. However, we all agreed that the top note is very challenging. Although not listed, we detected plant juice, green, sweetish, perhaps even slightly rotten and unpleasant. A tulip bouquet that has been sitting in water for a while, and now you’re trimming the stems. The water really needs to be changed.
After a few minutes, the scent of the tulip blossoms gradually unfolds and overlays the strange plant juice smell. Freesia and woody notes round it all off. After a few hours, I can only smell the tulip, very authentic and close to the skin.
For me, it’s not a purchase option. The scent reminds me very much of a flower shop; I could almost imagine it as a room fragrance.
