To say it with the words of a famous Vulcan, "Fascinating!"
But when can one wear something like this?
The association of ink, calligraphy, and fine paper is understandable.
The scent starts off synthetic (ink), then transitions into a greenish woody tone (paper) and ends with a warm base note (writer/calligrapher).
This is well thought out and well made, but normally unwearable.
Somehow, I have the image of a man in a Japanese garden. Dark suit, very simple. Underneath, a dark turtleneck, a shirt with a tie would be too much frill. The garden is meticulously planned down to the smallest detail, and the plants are perfectly shaped through years of pruning. In the background, a gardener is creating patterns in the gravel or sand beds. Pure aesthetics!
Such a thing is rather rare in the Westphalian landscape. :O)
But the scent would still be an unusual addition to my collection.
