I'll be honest - this was a totally blind buy from costco due to the fact that this is being discontinued and FOMO, plus the notes looking interesting - I like patchouli, amber, musk, and coconut.
After using for a week, I'm going back and forth on it, but leaning towards keeping it because it's quite unique for my collection that leans heavily vanilla, florals, tropical, and clean scents.
This is a true cozy, wintery scent that's kind of enveloping.
I don't get a true coconut scent, and other fragrances that I have with coconut water are much lighter and have a wateriness to them while this feels quite creamy. But I think that coconut water might bring some nuttiness that blends nicely with the cocoa notes. And that's what I'm hit with when I first spray this - cocoa and and a strong cacao bean scent. The floral notes from the osmanthus and jasmine come through after 20 minutes or so and this settles down into a creamy chocolately musk with a very soft floral notes wafting through.
There's a bit of an addictive quality to it so even though it's objectively not my favorite scent profile, it's once I've been reapplying. It's quite nice as a bed time scent.
For those afraid of the patchouli here, I will say that it's not at all a dirty or spicy patchouli...it's honestly not the main note I would pull out as the strongest note I get is chocolate. Here, the patchouli adds a creamy powderiness that makes it cozy and feminine.
