Le Nº9 Cadolle 1926

Cadolle was originally founded as a house for women's lingerie. In 1930, the first collection was launched and it was a huge success. People like Mata Hari, Brigitte Bardot, Jeanne Moreau, Marlene Dietrich, and Catherine Deneuve shopped there. The Cadolle business still exists today and is currently run by Poupie (Patricia) Cadolle in its 5th generation. Address: 4 rue Cambon 75001 Paris. With Chanel, there was éclat due to the name. Coco thought numbers were reserved for her, which was not the case. Very powdery note, almost like in Ombre rose. One can intensely follow the development of the individual notes. Good that Poupie preserves the old tradition!
