Calvin Klein is an interesting brand. I have 18 of his fragrances, some are great, some are not my thing. Escape is in between - I like the start but not the rest.
The jasmine is there from the beginning, and it suits the scent. To my nose the fruits are barely there, only as a silent whiff underneath from time to time, and it is mostly the apple that shows itself. Escape quickly becomes quite strong and flowery with a significant rose/jasmine expression. And then all of a sudden it turns into EA’s Sunflowers - the jasmine note hitting my nose so violently, somewhat cloying. I am not a fan of Sunflowers, so this is where the journey ends for me. I do not think it is enough to like the first 10-15 minutes of a fragrance and it is impossible to wash this off due to the sillage. Strong and everlasting. There is no Escape after spraying this…
