Obsession Calvin Klein 1985 Eau de Parfum

What else is there to say about Obsession that everyone doesn't already know?
This fragrance was a hit from the 90s, and I happily hummed along. Obsession accompanied me for many years as a young woman; bottle after bottle was emptied, and when I look at photos from that time, a "Why?" pops into my head. In my youth, I was not at all the feminine seductress I might have liked to be, but Obsession made me believe I was. The advertising with the seductive Kate Moss surely did its job well.
Obsession came very simply, very Calvin Klein...total understatement. Beige cardboard box, simple bottle...but the content. My goodness! All the scents of the Orient captured in this classic. Spicy-oriental with vanilla and incense. Only the bergamot could bring a bit of freshness. The peach and mandarin were only faintly detectable in the top notes in a homeopathic amount; after that, it was just an olfactory bazaar visit. Obsession in its original version was a wonderful spice market in Persia. Intoxicating, seductive, and a signature scent of the rather brutal kind. Ah Obsession, I think I’ll sniff you again soon. Maybe you didn’t get reformulated and are still the "seduction with a crowbar."
