....often create the best fragrances! Because sometimes, less is so much more than a lot of "ornamentation" that distracts the senses from what is essential. This is not exactly a "simple" scent, which may not appeal to everyone. But it presents a clear image of smoky-balsamic-woody spice in a small stroke of genius by the perfumers. The "alcoholic" aspect of the Bay Rum dissipates quickly, leaving a wonderful clove-bay aroma that blends warmly with the citrus fruits and remains until the end.
In between, the clear-green notes of coriander and thyme dive into the resinous-smoky scent of frankincense and myrrh. A hint of vanilla adds even more depth. That's all it takes to create a magically fascinating fragrance like this one. One that I had never heard or read about before. It was once again one of those successful "blind swaps," where I continually discover new scents, unknown scents, great scents, and occasionally some "silly scents" for ME PERSONALLY!
That "Ricki Hall" belongs to the greats with a lot of flair. And EXACTLY to my taste :-))
Dieses Parfum interessiert mich schon lange. Einfach ein spannendes Duftthema und so wie Du ihn beschreibst, werde ich von dem wohl mir noch einen Tester zulegen.
