Well, where can you find something like this?
A fragrance from a renowned designer label and no comment? Not even a statement. But what I've noticed is that at least the women's fragrances from Carolina Herrera are quite hard to come by around here. At most, they are available as under-the-counter items. I didn't even know this one before I stumbled upon a sample today. Perhaps CH is not exactly a bestseller.
...and I'm not really surprised by that.
First of all, I smell a Magnetism-currant. That's strange because there isn't any in it. I can smell it anyway. The Magnetism-currant should actually be slightly sour, but it's drowned in sugar so much that you can't notice it anymore. Instead of sour, it's just sugary sweet.
A little later, I then smell heavy sweet Jasmine Sambac. Well-known from countless fragrances. Alongside it is something dark and sweet. Not chocolatey, not vanillic. For my part, praline. But one could also say it's somewhat reminiscent of Armani Code or Si. The jasmine does smell quite similar.
The progression happens quite quickly. After 2 or 3 hours, I only smell the base. And I finally really like it now. It's not spectacular but beautifully creamy and sandalwood-like. Very soft and creamy.
CH is such a typical fragrance that you can have but don't have to have. An illegitimate and neglected child of Escada Magnetism and Armani Si. But with very weak longevity and hardly any sillage. Such a thing gets lost in the rich offerings of perfumeries. And if it gets discontinued, or has already been, it will hardly be noticed.

That's interesting. I just saw that it has almost the same notes as Good Girl, and I would have expected something in that direction. Trophy :-)

What a shame, the bottle is so beautiful.
